I had the most fun putting together my boys room when we moved in to our home a year and a half ago. I have made little tweaks here and there, over all I really love the feel of the room. It has a more vintage, fun, eclectic feel versus the other rooms in our home. Here is a little tour:
Wall color: Swan Sea from Behr.
Curtains from Target.
Curtain rods DIY from plumbing parts at Lowes.
Striped Navy duvet set from Target.com
Carousel sign under window from thrift store. |
Bunk beds are from Walmart.com $149 on sale a couple years go. |
This industrial basket was $19.99 from Marshalls. It holds A LOT of toys! |
My hubby and I made this sign for the empty space above their bed |
Used a combination of spray paint, dired rice, stain and interior paint to give this arrow a vintage feel |
Custom made this for the space above the window |
Boys reading corner! |
Lamp and metal bike from a thrift store.
Table from Target spray painted red. |
Metal initials from Hobby Lobby attached to the foot of each bed |
My Caleb is a DIE HARD Cars fan, his room had to have a Route 66 sign! |
The dresser was as steal at $8 from Craigs list, I re-painted it to match the room.
Ignore the fan! Haha, we all need a fan to sleep in this house! |
ABC from thrift store.
Classic Pooh Birthday figurine from my son's first birthday cake.
Other items from thrift stores. |
Thrift store find last year! So cute! |
Floating shelves are from target, lamp and shade from Target.
FAO wooden tool box from thrift store, books from birthdays/
Rabbit jacket holder from Ikea. |
Elephant and duck were thrift store finds. Blocks from Target.
Frame from Cars Land @ Disney's Ca. Adventure. |
The blue chair was their great-grandfathers we inherited when he passed away.
The quilt was hand made by my great-grandmother for me when I was born. |
